Registration is free and simple! Some basic information is required.
You will also need
to eventually create a PayPay account in order to tip artists
or to receive tips. But you can
leave that for when the time is right.
For now, just sign up so you can download
your music and decide who may or may not deserve a tip!
When registered, you can upload your create music albums, upload music, upload videos
or even your awsome code solutions or application you're written.
Artists (Uploaders):
You have the ability to view who has downloaded your songs, videos or software,
send mass email campaigns asking for donations or to annouce new items you've
added to your profile, etc. Other members, have the ability to give you a tip. You
can suggest a amount, but the tipper ultimatly has the power tip based on their
perceived value.
Downloaders:
Careful how much you download and don't tip! Your download/payout ratio is tracked
and you don't want to be labeled or be a featured "freeloader" or "leech"!
Value: the amount (of money or goods or services) that is considered
to be a fair equivalent for something, often based off of a comparison of something
similar. Tthis may vary from artist to artist, video to video, song to song, or
software to software.
